It has a one-touch zoom and focusing ring that rotates and slides smoothly but well damped, perfect for precise, manual focusing.
Pentax made two versions of its M series 80-200mm 1:4.5 zoom lens. This lens is of Ver. 1 which is considered by some to be the better one optically. Its a pleasure to use it in any of the K mount Pentax bodies like K1000, ME Super, Super Program, ZX-5N. It is also compatible with the Pentax DSLRs like the DS, DL, K100D, K200D, K10D and K20D in manual (M) mode.
The lens is in near mint condition. There are no hazes, scratches or fungus on the glass. The aperture blades are snappy. There are some dings and scratcheson the built-in lens hood. Otherwise, the barrel is in nice and clean condition.
